Join us for a plática/conversation on how to heal and be well during a time of pandemic, loss, and global susto (fright).
Our perception and experience of death greatly influences our health and well-being, both as individuals and as communities. The ways we grieve and honor our dead can help us find healing and wellness in a world that often denies us the time and space for grief. Join local curandero Jesús Cuauhtémoc Villa and death doula Kim Stravers for a plática (heart-to-heart conversation) about how to improve our personal well-being, navigate grief, and connect with our ancestors in a time of global pandemic, loss, and susto (fright).
Please bring:
Comfortable clothing suitable for light stretching
Notebook or journal & pen
Water bottle

OPTIONAL: a photo or recuerdo (object/artifact) of a deceased loved one for a communal altar
